I was born in 1967 in Leningrad, and I have loved to draw since my childhood. I studied at the children’s art school and went through a 2-year study at the art school gymnasium N 190 in Leningrad. I have also studied art and fashion design for 5 years at the Mukhina Art Academy in St. Petersburg (Leningrad). After completing my studies, I worked as a designer, designing women’s clothes in a knitwear fashion house, “Nevsky 12” in St. Petersburg.
I have always enjoyed exploring art from different national schools and experiencing traditions from different cultures. I have painted with watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and art glass, and have been carried away by painting on silk, “batik.”
I obtain my inspiration from various travel experiences and the beauty of the world around me. The wonderful Norwegian nature that gives me strength and energy.
In recent years, I have combined my painting with my work as an art therapist in the Stavanger Municipality with women and children in a difficult life crisis. There I help them find peace of mind and their spiritual balance, as well as reveal their creative potential, which is naturally inherent. During this period, I have also had the privilege of studying under Kjell Pahr Iversen.
The purpose of my work is to please other people, create a mood, decorate the home and make it unique and cozy, as well as create an atmosphere of a home filled with joy and harmony.
My pictures are featured in the digital galleries
Singulart.com, Kunstapart.nl, and Atelie.art.
